Sportscaster Earle Robinson Passes

WKAR.org is reporting that the local-legend sports host has died. He was 71. Robinson was a longtime on-air personality at WKAR — Michigan State University’s public radio station. His tenure ran from 1974, when he started out with a music program, until his retirement in 2003.

Robinson was inducted into the Greater Lansing Area Sports Hall of Fame in 2004.

Funeral details have not been released at the time of writing.
