JVC Media have recruited Long Island radio veteran Steve Harper to JVC and the Long Island Events team. Harper has been a part of Long Island radio mornings for decades and now will be part of afternoons on JVC’s Oldies 98.1. His career began at age 17 on Long Island, where he became the youngest afternoon drive announcer in the U.S. on WYFA. From there it was onto WBLI for over two and a half decades, followed by 101.7 The Beach and 92.9 WEHM, and mornings for almost a decade at Long Island’s K98.3.
In addition to his on-air duties Harper will also work with the creative team at JVC.
