Both stations are non-commercial currently carrying NPR. One is in Harlingen, the other McAllen. The Diocese of Brownsville is selling the stations to Immaculate Heart Media, which operates Relevant Radio, for $1.2 million.
Relevant Radio airs Catholic programming and plans to flip to Relevant Radio En Espanol, according to a report in The Brownsville Herald. The Relevant Radio how has approximately 130 stations covering 39 states.
