The company’s Joliet cluster — WRXQ-FM, WCCQ-FM, WJOL-AM, and WSSR-FM — raised $35,000 with a radiothon for MorningStar Mission’s Hope to the Hungry. The radiothon took place November 8, 2018.
Since 1909, MorningStar Mission has served men, women, children, and entire families in Joliet and Will County, offering hope for the hurting through one-time meals and long-term recovery programs.
Alpha Media, Joliet Market Manager, Brian Foster commented, “Each year there are a few different events that really define the holiday season. The annual MorningStar Mission Hope To The Hungry event is one of these amazing programs. We are proud to support this local charity as they impact lives right here in our community.”
