The company has appointed A.J. Hoffman PD for ESPN 97.5FM (Houston). Hoffman has a strong track record as an on-air talent, and currently co-hosts afternoon drive with Fred Faour. Their show, The Blitz, has been the number one sports show in Houston over the past year. Hoffman will continue with The Blitz while assuming the additional duties of Program Director.
“We are excited to elevate AJ to the PD position,” said Todd Farquharson, General Manager of ESPN 97.5. “He has demonstrated excellent programming instincts, and we think his experiences and leadership abilities make him a natural for this opportunity.”
