WPSC-FM 88.7 FM has been nominated by the Intercollegiate Broadcasting System for the title of Best College Radio Station in the U.S. This is the seventh time in eight years that the William Paterson University station has been nominated for the award.
WPSC-FM was also named Best College Radio Station, (among institutions with more than 10,000 students), by IBS in 2012, 2013, 2017, and 2018.
“I am absolutely delighted that our students are being recognized once again for their hard work and dedication at the radio station,” said Rob Quicke, GM and professor of communication. “My sincere congratulations to everyone involved in developing our excellent programming.”
The station was also nominated for Best On-Air Personality, Best Station Contest/Promotional Event, Best Press Release, and Best Use of Sound Effects.
