For over three decades Kent Phillips & Alan Budwill have been waking up Seattle on KPLZ/STAR 101.5. But come Wednesday, January 2, that job will go to longtime KPLZ afternoon team Curt and Corine (pictured). Phillips will move to afternoons along with current morning show members Jen Pirak and Marina Rockinger. He will also continue to serve as KPLZ’s Program Director. Budwill will check in from time to time while enjoying retirement in the San Juans.
Kent & Alan commented, “After almost 15 years of doing afternoons on STAR 101.5, it’s time for Curt and Corine to get up early. We want to thank everyone who put up with our morning antics!”
The Curt, Corine and Leonard Morning Show will air live, weekdays 6–10 a.m.
