The Philadelphia Classic Hits station raised over $250,000 to benefit the Children’s Miracle Network at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia during the 17th annual 98.1 WOGL Loves Our Kids Radiothon on December 6 and 7. The radiothon was broadcast live from the hospital and hosted by Marilyn Russell, Harvey Holiday, and Nicky G.

I like seeing stories like this. It showcases that the power of radio is still alive and well. I work for KRZZ in the Bay Area and we just did our radiothon and generated $460k in 2 days. Grateful that we have a loyal audience who is supporting positive causes. The fact that stations are still doing things for the local community is refreshing.
Not to Brag. But here in tiny, La Crosse, Wisconsin Market #200 plus, we raised over 150K at our CMNH Radiothon in October!
