Oswaldo Diaz has been recognized at the 2018 National Voice Award ceremony in Mexico City, hosted by the National Association of Broadcasters of Mexico. The black-tie event honors the best Latino broadcasting voices from across Mexico. Diaz, the host of the nationally syndicated afternoon program El Show de Erazno y La Chokolata, has been part of Entravision for 16 years. He began his career in Santa Maria at a Spanish Pop radio station while also working at Regional Mexican station La Ley 103.1.

The award ceremony took place Tuesday, December 4, at the St. Regis Hotel in Mexico City.

“It’s an honor to receive an award in the United States, but I’m extremely proud to receive this prestigious award from my home country. I’m grateful that I get to spread entertainment and comedic relief to our listeners every day,” said Diaz.

“Over the years, Oswaldo has constructed the bridge between art and science in radio hosting while adapting to new platforms and creating magic with his ideas. On behalf of Entravision, we’d like to congratulate Oswaldo for receiving this well-deserved award,” said Nestor Rocha, Vice President of Audio Programming, Entravision.
