Beasley Media Group has launched a new Community of Caring Initiative focused on hunger awareness. The campaign will run across all Beasley stations through the end of the year.
The goal will be to educate listeners about hunger and discuss ways listeners can help, from hosting food drives and planting community gardens to assisting those in need at local food pantries. In addition, the stations will feature articles and videos on their websites, as well as promote specific events they will be doing in the fight against hunger over the coming months.
“The Beasley Best Community of Caring Initiative reflects the heart and soul of what local radio and our company is all about- giving back to the communities we serve,” said Chief Executive Officer Caroline Beasley. “It’s a privilege to lend a helping hand and shed light on this important topic that impacts so many individuals and families on a daily basis.”
