Management Changes at Marketron

Mike Jackson has been appointed Senior Vice-President of Engineering and will be based out of the company’s office in Denver, Colorado. Jackson was VP, Software Engineering at Pearson, where he oversaw global software engineering for higher education products. Earlier in his career, he held software leadership roles at Oracle and JD Edwards.

Marketron’s Chief Executive Officer Michael Collins said, “As a software company, excellent engineering leadership is crucial to our success. Adding Mike to the team will ensure that we create world-class software that will help our customers succeed in a fast-changing marketplace.”

In addition:

— Todd Kalman has been promoted to SVP of Sales and will oversee revenue development, sales, and account management across all of Marketron’s product lines. Kalman has been with Marketron for three and a half years as VP of Sales and has over 20 years’ experience of senior radio sales leadership during his time with iHeartMedia and CBS Radio. He will report directly to Marketron’s CEO Michael Collins.

— Mark Weidel is joining the team as Regional Director for Digital Solutions. Weidel joins Marketron from Steinman Enterprises, where he was GM of Digital Solutions. Formerly, he was GM of the Interactive division at Delmarva Broadcasting Company.

“Marketron will be a smarter and more nimble company by adding great leaders like Mike, Todd, and Mark,” said Collins, adding, “Their experience will allow us to accelerate the delivery of the product enhancements and innovations our clients need to succeed in a rapidly changing industry.”
