Entercom has hired Alex Silverman as PD for KYW Newsradio (KYW-AM) in Philadelphia. Silverman had been APD for News and Programming at WCBS Newsradio 880 (WCBS-AM) in New York, also owned by Entercom. He joined Entercom in 2011 as an anchor for WCBS Newsradio 880.
