Our friends at The Skyview Network tell us that at the stroke of midnight on New Year’s Eve, Skyview successfully transitioned all 450 CBS News Radio’s affiliates to its distribution and inventory management platform. CBS News Radio made the announcement it was leaving Westwood One in August of 2017.

The company said the transition was very smooth for the CBS News Radio stations. “The network proudly holds a significant place in the top 25 markets. The successful changeover marks the start to the new partnership, which awards Skyview Networks the broadcast distribution, inventory management, and ad sales services.”

“We have been working hand in hand with our partners at CBS News Radio in advance of this broadcast transition and its success is the result of our combined efforts and strategic preparation,” said Ken Thiele, President of Skyview Networks. “As a vertically integrated company, we are uniquely positioned in the marketplace to serve the full needs of our national broadcast partners; we look forward to supporting the growth initiatives of CBS News Radio.”
