Two Miami Pirates Put On Notice

Brindley Marshall and Robenson Thermitus were given 10 days to respond to the FCC about why they were operating illegal radio stations out of their homes. Marshall is accused of operating a pirate station at 97.7 FM and Thermitus was caught operating at 98.7. Read the Marshall notice HERE and the Thermitus notice HERE.

When some licensed broadcasters squat on frequencies and are silent without authority for years, and the FCC does absolutely nothing about it, I think the open channel should be ooen for anyone who will actuqlly use of for the public good. When real estate is abandoned, we have adverse possession laws allowing anyone to take and use it. The same principles should apply to abandoned spectrum.
