Alpha Media West Palm Beach, FL raised $9,159 for Puerto Rico and the Caribbean Islands with their Taste of Soul Music and Food Festival. The festival was held on Saturday, November 11 and featured Brian McKnight, Tito Puente Jr., Brenda K. Starr, The People Up Stairs, Chemradery, J Sharp Band, JBellTheArtist, Sito Rocks, Vela, King Docious, Ricky C, and Erik O’Neill. Admission was a $10 donation and 100% of the proceeds went to the United Way to help aid in recovery and relief efforts for Puerto Rico and the Caribbean Islands from the effects of Hurricanes Irma and Maria.
Alpha Media West Palm Beach Operations Manager Leo Baldwin commented on the announcement, “With a community that has so many families affected by this storm, it was great that we came together for this cause.”
