November 18 marks the second official Day of Civility in Massachusetts. Governor Charlie Baker will issue a special proclamation to commemorate the event, which will be read during Opening Ceremonies of the Thanksgiving Day Parade, Plymouth, Massachusetts. Beasley Media Group Boston is among the sponsors of the event, along with Channel 5, Up with People, Conant Leadership Group, NEHRA, and Wendy’s franchises operators on Cape Cod.
“The purpose of designating Day of Civility is to have every person in every family and every company consciously perform a random act of kindness,” said Judith Bowman, Executive Director of the National Civility Foundation.
“We are thrilled to participate in this special day, which recognizes the countless acts of kindness that our listeners do on a daily basis in the community,” said Beasley Media Boston Vice President and Market Manager Mary Menna.
