College basketball referee John Higgins has filed a federal lawsuit against Kentucky Sports Radio accusing KSR of creating conditions that led to the harassment of his family after a game he called between Kentucky and North Carolina. The AP Reports Kentucky coach John Calipari criticized the officiating and that was picked up by the radio commentators. Higgins says it incited death threats on social media and in phone messages that affected his business. KSR says the lawsuit is frivolous.
