Radio Legend John Linder Dead At 63

John Linder, who grew up with and led the Radio Mankato group in Minnesota, as well as other broadcasting stations, died Friday morning after a nine-month battle with cancer, reports the Mankato Free Press. The Linder family is synonymous with radio history in the region. The family’s broadcasting holdings are widespread, including Minnesota Valley Broadcasting and Radio Mankato, which is home to KTOE, Minnesota 93, Hot 96-7, Oldies 100-point-5, KRRW, KXLP and The Fan.

Linder was a world traveler and loved spending time at his Florida home and with his children and grandchildren.
