According to The Denver Post, Taylor Swift will testify in the trial set for next week with former KYGO host David Mueller. Court documents show that Swift will testify that: “Mueller ‘put his hand under her dress and grabbed her bare ass.” Swift intends to testify that she has “never been so sure of anything in her life. The document says that Swift is “absolutely certain of what Mueller did” and that it was intentional and “not an accident.”
The incident took place in 2013 and after an investigation the station fired Mueller. He’s sueing Taylor Swift for defamation. Mueller claims he’s being falsely accused and Swift pressured then owner Lincoln Financial to fire him, which he was two days later. Swift’s team say they never pressured the station to fire Mueller.
Other witnesses will include Swift’s photographer, who took the photograph that captured the alleged assault, Swift’s bodyguard Greg Dent, who was at the meet-and-greet when the photograph was taken.
The trial is scheduled to take place August 7.
