Scripps-owned WTMJ-AM will be adding an FM translator to help expand the coverage of the powerful news station. Vice President and General Manager Tom Langmyer said, “WTMJ is ‘Wisconsin’s Radio Station,’ providing critical 24-hour news updates, weather, and traffic coverage. We continue to work at making our content available through additional platforms. Bringing WTMJ to the FM band improves our reach in Milwaukee’s quickly developing downtown region — and with the large percentage of FM-only listeners.” When the translator is approved, this fall, the station will be heard on 103.3 in the FM band.

Pretty good for a translator: 250 watts on a high tower. Be interesting to see how the ratings go. WTMJ already does quite well for an AM: https://ratings.radio-online.com/cgi-bin/rol.exe/arb043.
