Chandler has won the coveted 32nd Annual Stellar Award for Gospel Announcer Of The Year as host of his nationally syndicated morning show Mike Chandler & Friends. Chandler’s local radio station, WFMI-FM, was also nominated for a Stellar Award for Radio Station Of The Year (Large Market). Chandler is a 30-year broadcasting veteran and entrepreneur. He is managing partner of Virginia Beach, Virginia-based WFMI-FM, and CEO of Musical Soul Food Radio Network (MSF). The gospel music award show airs Sunday April 9 at 6, 8 and 11 p.m. EST on the TV One cable television network.
