The Colorado Broadcasters Association held its annual Awards of Excellence Gala at the Denver Marriot Tech Center on Saturday, March 11. A record 1,134 entries were received this year — 557 from radio. In addition to honoring individuals, the CBA also recognizes “Stations of the Year” with a point system that determines winners in each market, based on the number of Awards (first place) and Certificates (second place) won by each station.
