This is all part of Entercom’s restructuring in Charlotte since purchasing 5 stations from Beasley in January. Beasley spun the stations to Entercom as part of the $240 million merger with Greater Media in 2016. Darrin Arriens is hired as the Director of Operations for WBT-AM/FM, WFNZ-AM/FM and WLNK-FM and the syndication of the “Bob and Sheri Network”
Arriens joins Entercom with over 25 years of radio experience across News and Talk, Sports, Hot Adult Contemporary, Top 40, Hip-Hop and Rhythmic, Active Rock, Classic Rock, Alternative Rock and Triple A formats at ABC Radio, Citadel Broadcasting and Cumulus Media, among others. Previously, Arriens served as a regional director of operations for Citadel Broadcasting, overseeing 55 stations in the Midwest.
