And that is Johnnie D, who is promoted from APD and will work closely with Derrick Brown, Director of Urban Programming for iHeartMedia Chicago at the station. Brown was handling WGCI PD duties as a part of his Director of Urban Programming responsibilities.

Prior to joining iHeartMedia, Johnnie D was the Music Director and Executive Morning Show Producer of The Ryan Cameron Morning Show with Wanda Smith at WVEE-FM in Atlanta. Throughout his career, Johnnie D has held various programming positions at WPGC 95.5 (Washington, DC), HOT 97 WQHT (New York), Power 92.3 WPWX (Chicago), and 100.3 The Beat WPHI (Philadelphia).
