Savannah, GA, station BOB 106.9’s morning crew isn’t shy when it comes to raising money for breast cancer. And they reaped the benefits. Tim Leary and the Morning Showgram just wrapped up their 4th Annual “Tats for Ta-Tas” breast cancer awareness program and raised over $35,000 in benefit of the Nancy N. & J.C. Lewis Cancer & Research Pavilion at St. Joseph’s/Candler. The team raised $15,000 which was then matched by an anonymous foundation that donated an additional $20,000 to The National Breast Cancer Foundation. Tim and his co-hosts, Red and Claire Beverly, covered themselves in over 3,000 henna tattoos of survivor names and ran the Savannah EnMarket Bridge Run on Saturday December 3 in their memory.

Alpha Media Market Manager, Gigi South said, “Thank you to Tim, Red, Claire, and the entire BOB 106.9 team for giving their time to help end this horrible disease. Thank you to EnMarket and all the donors who contributed.”

“I am so overwhelmed! Especially, with this being such a tough fall for this area and for everyone to step up and show such support is something we can never say thank you enough for,” remarked Leary.
