Legendary Broadcaster Bob Chase Dies at 90

Fort Wayne Broadcaster Bob Chase passed away on Thanksgiving Day at the age of 90. Chase was the radio voice of the Fort Wayne Komets hockey team for 63 seasons. While in college, Chase started his radio career in Marquette in 1949. Chase moved to Fort Wayne to begin his radio career with WOWO AM 1190 in 1953 which included broadcasting Komet hockey games starting with the 1953-54 season. Listen to a tribute done by WOWO HERE
