JVC Brings Oldies Back To Long Island

It’s an HD 2 broadcast and a 250-watt translator on 98.1 for JVC on Long Island. The station signed on commercial-free thanks to a sponsorship from local company Slomins Home Heating and Security.

JVC CEO and President John Caracciolo says, “JVC Broadcasting is and always will be dedicated to giving all of our clients, both advertisers and listeners, the best product possible. The new Oldies 98 will be a radio station specifically for Suffolk County Long Island. With the mix of music and fun that the entire team created — and this was a huge JVC team effort — this station is going to be on every preset. Both Vic and I are very proud of what the staff created. This is fun radio!”

  1. Read about this new radio station in Newsday. Tuned in Thursday afternoon in Bridgehampton, signal came in but faded in and out. As I drove home it became stronger. I’m loving this new station keep it coming. And the hits just keep on coming!
