It was the 4th annual Share the Warmth Coat Drive for Alpha Media, North Dallas-Sherman-McKinney, October 3 to November 4. More than 3,000 coats were collected at over 50 locations for those in need. The coats were cleaned and repaired by Texas Laundry and Dry Cleaning. On Thursday, November 10, hundreds of families received new coats for the winter. A special pick-up time was set aside for veterans.
Alpha Media Market Manager David Smith commented on the announcement, “We are proud and thrilled with the continued growth of our Share the Warmth Coat Drive and the number of people we’re now able to help with so much support from TCOG, Texas Laundry, and our other great, caring sponsors.
