Entercom has hired Matt Hanlon as VP/Market Manager for the newly formed Entercom Charlotte cluster. Entercom purchased WFNZ-AM, WLNK-FM, and WBT-AM/FM from Beasley when Beasley spun them off to close on the Greater Media deal. The price was $24 million. Hanlon replaces Rick Feinblatt, who was running those the Greater Media stations.
Hanlon has over 20 years of experience and at one time he was president of Citadel Broadcasting, managing the Midwest region of 85 radio stations across 14 markets.
