As Beasley takes full control of the Greater Media stations, the company is also starting to put more of its own people in place. Mac Edwards transfers from Fayetteville, where he was running the cluster for Beasley in that market. Steve Chessare, one of Radio Ink’s Best Managers in 2016, told Radio Ink, “I’m the luckiest guy on the planet to have had the experience of working with the wonderful people of Greater Media.”
About his promotion to VP/Market Manager in Detroit, Edwards said, “It’s my absolute privilege to work with these three outstanding radio stations in the Motor City. I am eager to lead the transition of the tremendous talent within the Detroit cluster into the Beasley family of stations. We share a deep commitment to the community and clients we serve every day, and I know we will benefit from the previous success we’ve collectively achieved.
