Radio Co-Host Dances For Kids

CASA is a national nonprofit organization which trains and supports volunteers to speak out and act as advocates for the best interests of abused and neglected children. And Bob 106.9 (Savannah-Hilton) co-host Karen “Red” Daiss was more than ready to hit the dance floor to support them. In fact, Daiss won “Best Female Dancer” – with the help of her partner Joseph Marion – at the 9th Annual Dancing with the Savanah Stars Event. In total, $115,000 was raised from the event.

Alpha Media VP/Market Manager, Gigi South, said, “We are so proud of Red for her win, but more importantly, for raising money and awareness for CASA.”

“It’s an honor to raise money for such a great organization like CASA,” said Daiss. “I would like to thank everyone from the Bob 106.9 staff along with Gigi South and Rob Walker for their support in this amazing endeavor.”

Great job, Red!
