Auto Sales Continue To Slow

Keeping an eye on radio’s largest advertising category, sales figures are in for the month of August, which show the pace of auto sales decelerated sharply. GM’s sales fell 5.2%,   Toyota was down 5% and Nissan reported a 6.9% drop. Retail sales have fallen in four of the past six months, after rising for 66 straight months.

  1. I think “The Realist” might also agree that because radio has not provided much in the way of newer and more appealing advertising materials for the dealerships in more years than to which anyone would want to plead “guilty”, hysterical political realities are hardly an acceptable rationale for any drops in dealer participation.
Besides, refusing to take responsibility for its own results would only freeze radio in its tracks – unable to respond effectively.
