The Lincoln station received the Excellence in Broadcasting Awards during the Nebraska Broadcasters Association Convention on August 17. The tally included two gold awards (Spot News and Service to Agriculture), and three silver awards (Best Newscast, Service to Children, and Service to Government, Business, Industry, and Education).
Alpha Media Market Manager, Julie Gade said, “All of us at Alpha Media Lincoln are so very proud of these awards our team brought home. I cannot think of a better person to be at the helm of the NBA than Joy Patten.”
