Over 8,000 listeners turned out to help Cox Media Group’s Classic Hits 97.1 The River (WSRV-FM) in Atlanta celebrate its 10th anniversary this past weekend. The birthday party was held at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre in Alpharetta, GA, and it featured performancs by Boston and Dennis DeYoung.
PD Chris Eagan said, “River listeners are some of the most passionate fans I’ve ever seen. They came out in full force to see two great acts and show love for their favorite radio station. It was a great night for fans, staff, and the bands!” Check out more pictures from the event HERE.
