YouTube Music Launches Ad Campaign

In the increasingly crowded consumer music space, YouTube has launched a new advertising campaign for the service it launched in November. Many research studies show that, much like radio, YouTube is very strong at introducing new songs and artists and increasingly that’s where consumers go to discover new Music. AdWeek has more details on the ad campaign, and also reports that YouTube rights payments to artists in 2015 was $740 million, up 11 percent from 2014.
