Last week, Greater Media announced it was dumping its sports station in Detroit after a three year run. On Friday the station officially became the “All New 105.1 The Bounce… Detroit’s Throwback Hip Hop and R&B.” The station will focus on throwback hip hop and R&B songs from the 90’s and 2000’s, including artists that span from 2Pac and Ice Cube to Drake and Rihanna. The first 10,000 songs will be commercial free and a new on-air lineup will be announced soon.
