Cumulus has signed Shannon Burke to host a new 9 a.m.-Noon talk show on NewsRadio 106.7/WYAY-FM in Atlanta. Burke was the audience favorite in NewsRadio 106.7’s three weeks of auditions for the slot at the station.
Burke most recently hosted his own show on Tampa’s 102.5 “The Bone,” where, prior to that, he was part of the Bubba The Love Sponge show. Previously, Burke was on-air host at FM talk station Real Radio 104.1/WTKS in Orlando, after hosting a talk show on Orlando’s 540 WFLA. A Dallas native, Burke started his radio career at 98.9 KJFK-FM in Austin.
