Star 94.1 FM (KMYI), San Diego, Best Variety, announced Monday that Shelley Wade has been named its new afternoon host, broadcasting weekdays from 2 to 4 p.m., and providing entertainment features and updates from 4 to 8 p.m., beginning May 31, 2016.
For the last three years, Wade has been the midday host at iHeartMedia’s 95.7 KISS FM (KSSX) in San Diego and a weekend host on iHeartMedia’s 104.3 MYfm (KBIG) in Los Angeles. Prior to working in Southern California, her voice was heard on one of the most-listened-to Top 40 stations in the world, Z100 New York, where she worked for 12 years.
