Wyatt Nelson appeared in a viral video showing him doing hockey play-by-play for his blind father in the stands during a Western Hockey League game. That video caught the attention of KMOX analyst Kelly Chase.
Chase and St. Louis Blues GM Doug Armstrong invited the Nelson family to the game and gave Wyatt the opportunity to call part of Game 2 of the Western Conference Final against the San Jose Sharks on the 50,000-watt KMOX with play-by-play announcer Chris Kerber and Chase.
