Denise Bohn Stewart was co-host of the Denise & Johnny in the Morning show on Midwest Family’s 98.3 The Coast in Central Michigan. Stewart and her husband were both found dead in their home Tuesday. The local media is reporting that the incident was a murder-suicide. Stewart, who was 45, was apparently killed by her 51-year-old husband Eric Stewart. He then apparently killed himself.

The couple has two sons and a daughter, ages 10, 9 and 8, who were home at the time and called 911 just after 6:30 a.m. They were taken to a safe location.

Midwest Family Michigan President and General Manager Dave Doetsch told Radio Ink, “We are deeply saddened by the loss of Denise Bohn Stewart. She was a one of a kind. A truly beautiful human being whose passion for the cause could never be in doubt. We will miss her dearly.”
