This is a follow-up to a story we told you about back in February. Proclaim FM 102.3 Toledo host Mark Howington was arrested for inappropriately touching a woman. Police say the 52-year-old slapped a woman on the butt inside the women’s restroom of a Target. He’s been sentenced to one year of probation after he was convicted of assault.
The Toledo Blade reports Judge Timothy Kuhlman also sentenced Mr. Howington to a $1,000 fine and 180 days in the Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio, but suspended all of that sentence except for $100 of the fine. His probation requires an assessment, treatment, and no contact with the victim. Howington resigned as a pastor at a church and was terminated from his position at Proclaim FM, WPOS-FM 102.3 on Feb. 17.
