Sonya Blakey (pictured at top) will host mornings from 6 a.m. to 12 p.m. and Marcella Jones (pictured below) will host afternoons from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m., weekdays, on Inspiration 1390AM, live in-studio beginning Monday, April 4, 2016. Blakey serves as Program Director of Inspiration 1390AM and most recently hosted afternoons on the station. She will continue to host V013’s “Get Your Praise On!” on Sundays from 8 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Jones, known as the “Sweetheart of Gospel Music” previously hosted Saturday afternoons on Inspiration 1390AM.

I wonder if there were some things behind the scenes that prompted Angela to leave.
For example, new co-host Mark seemed to try too hard to be “funny”, and often made traffic unhelpful.
Also, the joke around my house centered around their station slogan “Gospel and Inspiration, now in one station… along with commercials featuring the Humpty Dance and Brazillian Butt Lift”
