Townsquare Q4 Ad Revenue Flat


Townsquare, which operates in 66 small and medium markets, reported flat local ad revenue for the final three months of 2015 and for the full year. Revenue in Q4 was off $400,000, which amounted to a decline of $0.4% to $80 million. When you back out the $3 million in political revenue Townsquare took in during Q4 of 2014, local ad revenue was up $3.5% in Q4 of 2015. For the year, local advertising revenue was also flat, up about $500,000 to $303 million. When backing out political revenue, revenue was up 2%, or $5.7 million to $300.2 million. The company took in $500,000 in political in 2015.
