The Radio Advertising Bureau, Katz and Nielsen hosted a seminar at the Union Station Columbus Club in Washington, DC this week. The networking seminar focused on the 2016 election with executives from the political advertising, media and marketing industry.
RAB CEO Erica Farber made a presentation on the power of radio’s role in the political arena and Nielsen presented data that focused on how to use radio to target voters. The event was capped off by an interview between CBS News Congressional Correspondent, Steven Portnoy and CBS News Election Director, Anthony Salvanto, (pictured left). Together, they shared critical insights fresh from the Iowa exit polls going straight into the New Hampshire primary.
