Schuman passed away from congestive heart failure Saturday morning at his home in Macomb County, Michigan. According to his wife, Cindy, he died peacefully in his sleep. They had just returned from a long road trip to Florida visiting family and friends. After several months of intensive care at home, he was doing well, and was able to do much of the driving on the Florida trip.
Schuman’s career included stops at WNOE New Orleans, WSAI and Q102 Cincinnati, KLIF Dallas, Z93 Atlanta, WROR Boston and last 25+ years in Detroit at WJR, WOWF, WYCD and WOMC.
Did not remember him at 99-Five WOW FM. Rest in peace.
