It didn’t take management too long to make that call after it was widely reported that Innes called Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce a “lap dog” and “house negro” during his show Tuesday. WIP management provided Radio Ink with the following statement: “Comments made by Josh Innes during his WIP-FM program yesterday in regards to Eagles center Jason Kelce were inappropriate and unacceptable. We do not condone or approve of those comments.” Innes apologized for what he said later during his shift on Tuesday. “I’m the dumbest human being on the planet. I apologize for that, I truly do. I’m an idiot.”
