Todd McCarty has been named Chief Human Resources Officer at Cumulus. In making the announcement about McCarty’s hire, CEO Mary Berner said, “It’s critical we move quickly and efficiently to build on our strengths, we retain and attract top performers on and off the air and support and motivate them to deliver exceptional performance across all disciplines and markets. Todd stands out among his peers in terms of qualifications and experience.” McCarty comes to Cumulus from the Las Vegas Sands Corporation where he was Senior VP of Global Human Resources since 2012. He’s also held similar position at The New York Times Company and Readers Digest, where Berner was the CEO.
