Coastal Broadcasting has inked Bob Stei to host this summer’s nightly broadcast from the Boardwalk in Wildwood, NJ, for Hot AC 98.7 The Coast (WCZT). Stei will also fill in when needed at the Coast and sister Modern Rocker WJSE, and he’ll continue to host weekends/swing at Townsquare Classic Rock 105.7 The Hawk (WCHR-FM) Ocean/Monmouth, NJ.

The Detroit News reports that for the second time since the Greater Media station flipped from AC to sports less than three years ago, WMGC-FM is looking for a new PD. Dave Shore, who hired as PD and afternoon co-host in February 2015, was let go this week, according to the paper. Shore replaced PD Jason Dixon who was the program director when the station went sports in 2013.

More nationwide growth for The Breakfast Club. Hip Hop station JAM'N 94.5 in Boston will begin piping in the syndicated morning show beginning Thursday. iHeart says former morning team Frankie and Ashlee will remain with the company and more details on what they will be doing will be announced soon.

New Jersey Broadcasters Association President & CEO Paul S. Rotella, Esq., has announced the names of the newest inductees into the New Jersey Broadcasters Association’s Hall of Fame. The inductions will take place at the 69th Annual NJBA Convention and Gala in Atlantic City on June 22-23.

COO Drew Horowitz confirmed to Radio Ink that the long-time programmer was out and said there was no statement about the change from the company. Horowitz did tell The Chicagoland Radio and Media Blog, this "was a senior management decision to initiate a corporate restructure that was the driver of the change."

89.3 WFPL News has hired Ashlie Stevens as a full-time reporter to cover arts and culture in Louisville and across the state. Stevens is a Louisville-based journalist whose work has focused on art, food and drink, and urban preservation.

Beasley Media Group confirmed Tuesday that Jeff Zito is moving up the Gulf Coast from his position as Program Director at Fort Myers station WRXK/K-ROCK to begin his new PD role at Tampa’s WBRN/98.7 NO RULES ROCK. He will start working as WBRN’s Program Director, on Monday, June 20.

KNBR Ops Manager Lee Hammer said, “We’re about to re-launch KNBR 1050, and we’re excited to have Jeremiah join our programming team to lead this effort. He'll also be working closely with me on new strategic programming initiatives at KNBR 680, plus helping to expand our growing social media platforms.”

Brad Hansen becomes the FM Operations Manager of Cumulus Media-Albuquerque and Program Director of KRST/NASH FM 92.3, KBZU/NASH Icon and KDRF/eD-FM. Hansen was PD at Country station KWOF/92.5The WOLF in Denver before the move.

As of May 15, iHeartMedia Honolulu morning man Coach Larry Price is ending his 33-year run as half of KSSK's Adult Contemporary morning show duo of Perry & Price. Price plans to focus on other interests within the company though. He plans to launch a new sports show with Rick Hamada on sister station FOX Sports 990 that will air on Saturdays at 11 a.m.
