Tampa Morning Man Found Dead
When WQYK morning man Dave McKay didn't show up for work Thursday morning a co-worker went to check on him and found him dead. Police do not suspect foul play. McKay, whose real name is Steve Ehmke, had been with WQYK since 1992.
Ace & TJ Score Another Five Years At 96.1
Charlotte’s Channel 96.1 announced Thursday that it has extended its agreement with The Ace & TJ Show for five years. The show airs weekdays from 6-10 a.m. The show has been with the station since January 2011.

Well-known Chicago radio personality "Ramblin" Ray Stevens will join John Howell on the WLS-AM morning show starting Monday. Stevens and Howell worked together for several years at Country outlet US99.5 in Chicago.

Tyler, who is currently the morning host at CBS RADIO’s WZMP-FM (96.5 AMP Radio) in Philadelphia, will take the 7 p.m. to Midnight shift at WBBM. A native of Rockford, IL, Tyler is a 15 year radio veteran. Prior to this role, he spent nine years as APD/MD and afternoon personality at KBKS Kiss-FM in Seattle, WA.
Burger Lands Morning Gig in Wichita
Scripps owned KFDI in Wichita has hired former WIRK West Palm Beach, morning show veteran Tim “Tiny” Burger as co-host for its morning show. Current KFDI personality JJ Hayes will co-host the morning show with Burger.
