The Washington, DC, station has promoted WRQX Mix 107.3 Music Director Ashley Nickels to Assistant Program Director and part-time personality Seth King is now full-time host, nights. King’s show airs Monday through Friday from 7 p.m.-12 Midnight.
Local Legends To Fill Key Air Slots At KHTP
Award-winning rap artist Anthony Ray, better known as Sir Mix-A-Lot, and Seattle radio veteran Eric Powers will join the KHTP-FM HOT 103.7 (Seattle) lineup. Sir Mix-A-Lot will be on air during morning drive from 5 a.m. to 9 a.m. and Powers will be the afternoon drive host from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., as well as the station's Program Director effective July 5.

The highly rated midday personality and host of WPGC95.5’s Sunni In The City is moving to mornings as part of the Joe Clair Morning Show. Sunni has been on-air for WPGC since January 2011. Prior to joining WPGC, she enjoyed success as a #1-rated air talent in Detroit as well as New York and Miami.
Cromwell Promotes Nickerson
Tara Nickerson has been named GM for Cromwell's eight stations in Decatur, replacing Chris Bullock. Nickerson has been with Cromwell for 14 years as PD and Operations Manager. Cromwell President Bud Walters said, "We're thrilled that Tara can accept this position. There were 35 applicants. She's been interim manager since mid-may and doing a wonderful job."

El Cucuy Returns to L.A.
On Saturday, Entravision launched El Cucuy y Mayra Berenice, in Los Angeles. It's the second new show for El Cucuy after his return to radio in January. The show will air on La Suavecita KSSE 107.1 FM in Los Angeles every Saturday from 10:00 a.m.- 2:00 p.m. PST
